Absolutely brilliant fit with vibrant design. Hurtta gear is extremely well made with a lot of ways to still adjust for that extra snug fit in neck, waist and length. Straps go around back thighs for no flapping during heavy winds or days when extra rolling is essential! I particularly like the skirted front which adds extra protection but does not hinder running or jumping in any way. I am located in Ontario, Canada and the service from Sue was beyond exceptional! The shipping for out of country was reasonable (considering the particular distance in my case) and tracking was made very easy! Sue is absolutely wonderful to deal with and my only regret is that I am not closer! I have 3 goldens of varying sizes and look forward to a time when I can purchase from Sue again. Thanks for everything Sue! We can’t wait for snow!

I’m always mildly amused at the dogs in the photos modelling warm dog jackets, generally big, often long-haired (husky types even), gallivanting in the snow. At our place, its harsh frosts, freezing mud, short hair and short legs! It’s surprisingly hard to find dog jackets that take the outside, proper NZ winter farming outside, seriously. Not urban-street-chilly-and-a-little-damp, but outside feeding stock when you’re too loyal to your mum (and perhaps too eager to chase pukeko and rāpeti) to wait inside for her by the fire, wet, windy, frigid. The whippet is a little braver in truly inclement weather, being that bit taller and slightly less grey, but the mini fox/pin just suffers (and no doggo should be miserable on his walk). Until now. Now, dressed in his Hurtta Extreme Warmer in easy-to-spot-but-still-manly lignon, he is a toasty, patient beacon atop a pile of hay or sniffing out the set where Mrs Hare slept last night, looking for plover nests or general busyness), still very keen for a walk, while me (doing a cheery impersonation of the Stay Puft man) shifts the break and replaces the covers on the horses.
6 out of 5 stars for warmth, lightness, practicality, adjustability, durability and doggo-happiness, which is the most important rating of them all.
Lovely dealing with Sue, who was quick to sent me a swap when I overestimated the size of the smallest boy.
